24-9-101. DEFINITIONS.
This section is included in your selections.
For the purposes of these regulations and unless defined in other sections of this Title, the terms, phrases, and words shall have the following meanings:
(1) Department. The West Valley City Police Department, Community Preservation Department, Community and Economic Development Department, Public Works Department, and the Salt Lake County Health Department.
(2) Nuisance. Anything which is injurious to health, indecent, offensive to the senses, or an obstruction to the free use of property, so as to interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property.
(3) Offensive Establishment. Any unwholesome business, pigsty, privy, barn, corral, sewer, or nauseous house, place or business that poses a nuisance.
