22-2-201. NOTICE OF PARKING VIOLATION.
(1) Every person who receives a Notice of Parking Violation must pay the civil penalty for that violation as set forth in this Chapter. If the owner or operator requests a hearing within 10 days, as provided in this Chapter, the penalty is not due until any hearing processes are complete, if there remains an obligation to pay the penalty.
(2) Except as noted below, the civil penalties specified in this Chapter shall be subject to the following reductions:
a. Any penalty that is paid within 10 days from the date of issuance of the Notice of Violation shall be reduced by $100;
b. Any penalty that is paid between 10 and 30 days from the date of issuance of the Notice of Violation shall be reduced by $50.
(3) The City may use all lawful means to collect and satisfy the penalty, including costs and reasonable attorney’s fees.
